Humboldt County REC offers new programs to our members to encourage energy-efficiency focused on reducing your homes energy usage.
These programs include new rebates rewarding home weatherization, new Energy Star appliance purchases and installation of efficient heating and cooling systems. The new appliance rebates will be offered for Energy Star refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers and dishwashers. There is also a new incentive for heat pump and solar water heaters.
Incentives offered in the past will continue, including rebates for energy-efficient heat pumps (geothermal and air source), high-efficiency central air conditioning, water heaters and the annual “Change a Light” CFL promotion.
